Perezhilton.com is a celebrity gossip blog that is written by Perez Hilton. The web site is very interactive as after every news entry there is a link that reads “Permalink/### Comments (RSS). If you click on the Permalink link, the site allows you to leave a comment. You have to enter your name, e-mail (which will not show on your comment) and the comment itself. If you click on the ### Comments it brings you to a page where you can read other comments that have been posted regarding the news feature. Finally if the user links to the RSS it allows them to subscribe to the feed using Live Bookmarks, Bloglines, My Yahoo, or Google.
Along the left hand panel there is a list of links RSS2, ATOM, Comments RSS2
Kinja, My Yahoo!, My MSN, Bloglines which all bring you to the subscribe to the feed link. Another link, Technorati, brings you to a page where you can sign up to be a member which tracks posts on your favourite blogs.

If you scroll all the way down to the bottom of people.com you will find three links that make this site interactive. First there is the RSS which allows you to subscribe to News, Photos, or Style Watch News through myAOL, Google, MyYahoo, My MSN, or netvibes. Underneath it briefly explains what RSS is and how to get a fed. Next there is podcasts which allows the user to listen to news clips of celebrities. You can subscribe for free through itunes. The Podcast Archive allows you to listen to news stories as far back as Jan. 2007. Finally, People Mobile allows you to get up to the minute celebrity news, photos, and more on your cell hone. It advertises only $3.99 a month, but i feel as though there must be hidden fees somewhere.
Rolling Stone
At the top of the Rolling Stone website there is a link RSS feeds, when you enter this page the explains to you what an RSS feed is, why it’s so great, and how to start. It then lets the user pick the RSS reader it uses; Google, My Yahoo, Pageflakes, Sub Bloglines, newsgator. From there you can add many feeds such as your favourite artist feed, Rock and Roll Blog, National Affairs Blog, New Music Blog, Features, Photos, Videos and many more.
